We don't use paraffin, synthetic additives, or toxic chemicals. Each scent is inspired by the shared heritage of Greece and Türkiye—celebrating connection, not division.

The name honours two things: the 1,400+ islands of the Aegean Sea, and 14 centuries of Islamic heritage in the region. It represents unity, shared culture, and the sea that connects rather than divides.

Yes. We use coconut-soy wax (not paraffin), natural cotton wicks (no lead or zinc), and phthalate-free fragrance oils. Our candles produce minimal smoke and are safe for you, your pets, and your home.

This is a natural characteristic of soy wax. Unlike paraffin candles that use chemical smoothing agents, our wax behaves honestly—it may frost, develop small air pockets, or have slight texture variations. These don't affect burn quality or scent. True luxury isn't flawless—it's honest.

Our 8oz candles burn for approximately 50+ hours when cared for properly. Natural wax burns slower and cleaner than paraffin, giving you more time with your chosen scent.

Currently, we offer both 80g and 220g candles. Each vessel is designed to be repurposed after the candle burns—for herbs, flowers, brushes, or whatever small rituals fill your days.

We use phthalate-free fragrance oils carefully sourced for quality and safety. While not 100% essential oils (which can be unstable in candles), our fragrances are free from harmful chemicals and designed to burn clean.

Visit our Candle Care page for full instructions. The basics: trim the wick to 5mm before each burn, let the first burn create a full melt pool (2-3 hours), and never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

Yes, our candles are non-toxic and produce minimal smoke. However, always keep burning candles out of reach of pets and never leave them unattended.

Clean it out (pour hot water in, let the wax float to the top) and repurpose it however you like. Or bring it to one of our market stands for a discount on your next candle through our Jar Return Program.

We accept returns on unburned, unopened candles within 14 days. If your candle arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days for a replacement. See our full Shipping & Returns policy for details.
