Our candles are made with a premium coconut-soy wax blend, natural wicks, and phthalate-free fragrance oils—all carefully sourced to honour the purity of the Aegean. We don't use paraffin, synthetic additives, or toxic accelerants.

This means you might notice small imperfections: a slightly uneven surface, natural frosting, or minor variations in colour. These aren't flaws—they're proof. Proof that we don't use chemical smoothing agents. Proof that each candle is hand-poured in small batches. Proof that we care more about what goes into your home than achieving factory perfection.

True luxury isn't flawless—it's honest.

The first burn is the most important. Light your candle and let it burn until the entire surface becomes liquid—this creates a "memory ring" and prevents tunneling.

• Allow 2-3 hours for the first burn (patience is ritual)
• Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time
• Trim the wick to 5mm before each lighting
• Keep the wax pool free of debris
• Burn on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts

Natural wax burns slower and cleaner than paraffin. You'll notice minimal smoke and a pure, even scent throw—exactly as the Aegean intended.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials
• Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface
• Stop burning when 10mm of wax remains
• Don't move a lit candle—let it cool completely first

When your candle has burned its last, the vessel remains. Each jar is a small sculpture—designed to hold more than wax.

To clean: Pour hot water into the jar, let it sit for 15 minutes, and the remaining wax will float to the top. Wipe clean and repurpose as you wish—for herbs, brushes, morning coffee, a single stem of jasmine.

Because the Aegean has always believed in cycles: the tide goes out, and the tide returns.

Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Natural wax is sensitive to heat and light—it prefers the same conditions you do.

If you notice "frosting" (a white, crystalline pattern on the surface), don't worry. This is a natural characteristic of soy wax and doesn't affect the burn quality or scent. It's simply the wax doing what natural materials do: existing honestly.
